An AUSSIE!!???!!
Since I am always talking about my Border Collies, many do not realize that I had an Aussie as well. However, she is the kind of dog that will NEVER let you forget that she is there! She is now doing her best to make sure that I never forget her memory. If i listen real close I can still hear her barking at me... We will miss you sweet, crazy girl!
You mean I am not a Border Collie??
Maggie was originally add to the family so that my father had a dog to train as well. We wanted a similar size, highly intelligent dog that was slightly lower key then a border collie. Maggie missed that key point. She has a drive as high as any border collies, and the speed to match it. She also has quite a mouth on her as well... Everyone always said that they could tell when Maggie was running the course, because she was barking her fool head off, and I had to yell even louder so she could hear me give commands!
We just try not to talk to much about it...
Maggie is one of the most incredible dogs, as not only does she excell at agility, but she does a great job at obedience. She is also the type of dog that no matter how bad your day may have been, she will put a smile on your face. With her barking, howling and carrying on at the front end, and the constent wiggle butt going at the rear, she demands your constant attention, and trust me, you would have no trouble giving into her!
