Like Mother, Like Son
Now that Devlin is just shy of a year old (I know I can't believe it either!) I has become apparent that he really is his mother's son. They share so many traits.... Mannerisms, personality, looks, the works. They even tilt their heads the same way... And usually at the same time!
Still immature, but he has a long way to go yet. He is currently about 20.5" at the shoulder and about 36 pounds. I am not anticipating him to get a whole lot taller (please NO) but he does need to fill out. A big perk is that his coat is coming in LOVELY!
Liz is throughly enjoying the spayed life. No more coat blowing. (it was so nice to not have a naked dog this year). It was so bad after the puppy, that someone asked me if I had a Border-Jack! The NERVE! <vbg> It is alos making it much easier to enter dog shows, as I no longer have her cycle to worry about. So after her month of April mostly off.... On to the trials we go! We have big plans for the summer... MXJ, UD, Continue towards or NATCH... Maybe do a table or two.
There are a lot of times I will be walking one, and frinds will think that it is the other. Seeing them side by side is the best way to really see all that Devlin got from his mom.... Especially his ears!
