| Comments: | I understand from a mutual acquaintance (xenophile80@yahoo.com) that you also find it difficult to have a picture taken without your dogs in it also. I have two twelve year old females, Sugar and Spice. They were both from different litters, twenty seven days apart. They were never bred since the elder is susceptible to Epileptic Seizures and the younger one has a Heart Murmur problem. Their Herding days are behind them now days. At this point in their lives just being able to play is fine with them. The instinct and willingness is still there but the physical suffering afterwards shows on them. I've owned BC's since the early Seventies and just never felt that any other breed was worth living with. It's good to know that there is another person with the same love for these extraordinary canines as I have. I may never fully understand everything about them since they still surprise me ever so often with some new capability that just appears out of no where. |

| Comments: | I too have a small BC. She is 5 @1/2 mo old, and looks like she'll end up on the tiny side. At what age did you show your Lizzy in the conf ring?? Was it in the puppy class, or when she was older?? I would like to do some limited showing with her, and figured she would show better in a puppy class when small then she would in a open class later on. Just curious! Her mom is small too, but not as tiny as I feel she will ultimately end up being. Thanks for your info! |
